Originally from Detroit, MI, Kayla came to Brooklyn after earning her BFA in Graphic Design from Western Michigan University.

Kayla’s skills in hand-lettering and 2-D illustration are the building blocks that inform her practice. With a focus on branding, typography, and environmental design, she employs these tools to create dynamic and narrative visual solutions. She takes pleasure in helping other creatives realize their visions and uplifting the missions of community-supporting organizations.

Kayla currently works as an in-house graphic designer. She spends her free time working on personal artistic endeavors and occasionally taking on inspiring freelance projects.
